ORTHOPEDICS
Mission Center Healthcare offers on-site orthopedics. Our collaborating orthopedic specialists can treat both adults and children. They do a wide range of orthopedic surgery, including joint implantation.
Michael Klassen, M.D.
Dr. Klassen is the head of Monterey Peninsula Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Klassen does general orthopedics and has special interest in shoulder, knee and hip arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine.
Ramon Jimenez, M.D.
Dr. Jimenez, past President of the California Orthopedic Association, is a nationally known orthopedic physician with a very extensive practice experience. He has expertise in many areas of orthopedics, with a current focus in outpatient areas such as sports medicine and arthritis treatment.
GASTROENTEROLOGY
Mission Center Healthcare is pleased to partner with Monterey Gastroenterology Consultants. Daniel Luba, M.D., Richard Hell, M.D. and Toby Katz, M.D. are board certified gastroenterologists with a wide range of clinical experience. In addition to seeing patients in consultation at our facility, they can provide the full scope of gastroenterology procedures.
OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
Mission Center Healthcare is pleased to partner with Ob-Gyn Associates of the Central Coast. William Khieu, M.D., sees patients in our office. Dr. Khieu, who is president of the Monterey County Medical Society, is Board Certified by and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2008, he was honored with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist’s Outstanding District Service Achievement Award. He was the first gynecologist in Monterey County to perform robotic gynecologic surgery. He and his colleagues can provide the full range of surgical and other hospital care for problems that cannot be managed in our office
OPHTHALMOLOGY
Mission Center Healthcare is pleased to have partnered with Vantage Eye Care to bring ophthalmology care to our patients. This is especially helpful for our diabetic patients. Jon Page, M.D., sees patients in our facility, and the retinal and cornea specialists at Vantage Eye Care are available for consultation as needed.
CARDIOLOGY
Mission Center Healthcare now has partnered with Monterey Cardio-Pulmonary Associates to give our patients access to top quality cardiology and pulmonology consultation. Dr. Stephen Brabeck, board certified cardiologist, sees patients at our clinic along with several of his associates, and he and his colleagues can provide more advanced testing and procedures as needed.
HEMATOLOGY & ONCOLOGY
Mission Center Healthcare has now associated with Monterey Bay Oncology to provide hematology and cancer care to our patients at our office. Roger Schiffman, M.D., John Hausdorff, M.D., Arina Ganales, M.D. and Bogdan Eftimie, M.D. are top quality specialists, and they can provide hospital care for problems that cannot be managed in an outpatient setting.
PHYSIATRY
Aidan Clarke, M.D.
Aidan Clarke, M.D is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Among other things, he specializes in helping patients overcome new and long-standing injuries and musculo-skeletal problems, and he manages pain problems, including chronic pain. He can provide therapies like epidural injections for back injuries and other means to resolve complicated pain problems.
PODIATRY
Kirk Allen, DPM, one of the most experienced and highly regarded podiatrists in the region, now provides top quality foot care to our patients at Mission Center Healthcare. He can provide hospital surgical care for problems too complicated to be managed in an office.
