Mission Center Healthcare provides advanced urgent care every day of the year. We are open for extended hours and will always see patients without appointments. With our team of experienced emergency and trauma physicians and our on-site rapid-output laboratory and digital imaging, along with the ability to provide IV medication and sedation, we can care for most medical problems and do many procedures that usually required a visit to a hospital emergency department.
Among other things, we can manage injuries, such as fractures, dislocations, and lacerations. We can handle medical problems requiring prolonged treatment, such as illnesses requiring IV therapy and serious asthma and emphysema attacks. We maintain close communication with the regional hospital emergency departments and can stabilize and rapidly transport the most serious conditions as needed.
People with life-threatening or very serious problems should call 911 and go to the emergency department. Such problems could include:
o Chest pain
o Severe abdominal pain
o Severe shortness of breath
o Sudden weakness, loss of coordination, dizziness, trouble speaking
o Sudden change in vision
o Sudden numbness in any part of the body
o Sudden severe headache
o Severe bleeding
o Deep cuts
